"Vaagai Sooda Vaa" is one among the 20 films out of 144 eligible entries, set to be screened at the 43rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2012
The National award-winning Tamil romantic-comedy drama directed by A. Sarkunam, is the story of an individual who is driven by an ambition that only education for the underprivileged can take this country to greater levels.
The 20 selected films include five Malayalam, three Bengali, two Marathi and one film each in Byari, Bhojpuri, Konkani, Kannada, English, Punjabi and Tamil.
The 43rd IFFI will take place in Goa on Nov 20-30,2012
