The Nehru Cup ( formally known as the ONGC Nehru Cup) is an International Association Football Tournament organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) since 1982 when it was launched( not held from 1998 to 2006)
The 2012 Nehru Cup was the 15th edition of the Nehru Cup and 3rd Nehru Cup since it was revived in 2007.A total of 5 teams participated in the tournament -

The Nehru Cup was hosted in New Delhi at the Nehru Stadium from Aug 22 to Sep 02,2012 and the tournament was played in a round-robin style.
India won the 2012 Nehru Cup after defeating Cameroon B Team 5–4 on penalties after the match ended 2–2 after 120 minutes.
