Rajnikant-Kamal Haasan Starrer 'Ninaithalae Inikkum' will soon be released in the digital format

The successful run of  Sivaji Ganesan’s mythological flick 'Karnan' has opened a new market for superhits of yesteryear.Combining the lure of the past with the craze for watching the ‘Superstar’ and Ulaganayagan on screen, makers of Ninaithalae Inikkum have decided to re-release the film.

Directed by K Balachander in 1979, 'Ninaithalae Inikkum' featured Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth as musicians of a band that goes to perform in Singapore. While Kamal Haasan played the singer of the troupe, Rajinikanth played the guitarist. The movie was received well for its comedy and music. The songs, for which M S Viswanathan scored music, were a huge hit and evergreen.
