57th Filmfare Awards Jan 29,2012

The Idea 57th Filmfare Awards held at the Film City studio, Mumbai honoring the best film of 2011 from the Hindi-language film industry.The ceremony was jointly hosted by Shahrukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor

The nominations for the awards were announced on January 11, 2012.Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara  was the most nominated, receiving 13 nominations.It was followed by Rockstar with 9 nominations, and Delhi Belly with 7
nominations

Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ grab 7 most popular awards-Best Film, Best Director, Best Dialogue, Best Supporting Actor (Male), Best Movie (Critics), Best Cinematography and Best Choreography

Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Rockstar’ snapped 5 Filmfare awards- Best Actor, Best Actor (critics), Best Music Director, Best Lyrics Award and Best Playback (Male)

The best music director award was won by Oscar winner AR Rahman for ‘Rockstar’, and he was honoured with 2500th diamond-studded Filmfare trophy
