Sócrates(February 19, 1954 – December 04, 2011)
Captain of Brazil in the World Cup 1982 in Spain, but fail to make it past the second round.
Played at the World Cup in Mexico1986 where Brazil lose in the quarter-finals to France, on penalties.
He was named South American Footballer of the Year 1983, and was named on Pele's FIFA 100 list in 2004.
Died at the age of 57 on Dec 04,2011 in the Albert Einstein Israeli hospital in São Paulo where he was undertaking treatment since Thursday, when he was interned with food poisoning which developed into septic shock.
