Cash-for-votes scandal is a scandal in which the UPA allegedly bribed MP's in order to survive a confidence vote on July 22, 2008 which arose after the CPI(M) led Left-Front withdrew support from the government, who wanted to pursue an Indo-US Nuclear Deal.
