1)CBI investigators were probing the loan of Rs 214 crore, allegedly given out by one of the beneficiaries of the scam to Kalaignar TV, which has TN CM M Karunanidhi's wife M.K. Dayalu and daughter Kanimozhi as the majority shareholders.
2) Documents that establish the money transfer from Dynamix Realty, a subsidiary of DB Reality to Kalaignar TV show that -
a)Dynamix Realty, a firm owned 99 per cent by DB Realty, transferred Rs 209 crore in unsecured loans to Kusegaon Realty Pvt Ltd(Kusegaon Realty is owned 50% by the CFO of DB Realty, Asif Balwa)
b)Kusegaon Realty then transferred Rs 206 crore in "loans and advances" to Cineyug Films
(Kusegaon is 49 %shareholder in Cineyug Films)
c) Cineyug then transferred Rs 214 crore in unsecured loans to Kalaignar TV.
It was stated that the deal was to buy 30 per cent of Kalaignar TV equity. But the share subscription money turned into a loan due to valuation issues. The money was reportedly paid back to Cineyug by KalaignarTV
