Australia's David Warner emulates Virat Kohli with 16th ODI hundred in 110 innings Thursday June 20,2019

David Warner hit his 16th ODI hundred as Australia cruised towards a big total against Bangladesh in a World Cup 2019 match in Nottingham on Thursday.

This was Warner's 2nd hundred for Australia in this edition of the tournament and his third overall.

David Warner equalled Virat Kohli as he became only the second batsman to complete 16 ODI tons in 110 innings. Hashim Amla, who scored his 16th ODI century in 94 innings, holds the record for fewest innings to this feat.

David Warner's first century at the 2019 CWC came Vs Pakistan in Australia's winning cause in Taunton.

David Warner began the 2019 World Cup with an unbeaten 89 against Afghanistan before falling cheaply against West Indies.

David Warner added 121 for the opening wicket with Aaron Finch and then continued to dominate as Usman Khawaja joined him in the middle.

David Warner's first hundred in World Cups came in the last edition of the tournament. He had hit 178 out of Australia's total of 401 for 6 off 50 overs against Afghanistan.
