2019 Indian Parliamentary Election April 11 to May 19,2019 - Odisha Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik announces first list of 9 of the 21 Lok Sabha and 54 of the 147 assembly seats in Odisha Monday March 18,2019

 

Odisha Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik will contest the Odisha assembly polls from two seats, Bijepur and his home turf Hinjili.

Patnaik Monday March 18,2019 announced the first list of BJD candidates for 9 of the 21 Lok Sabha and 54 of the 147 assembly seats in Odisha

The ruling BJD dropped seven sitting MPs as it released list of candidates for nine Lok Sabha seats that will go to polls in first two phases.

The Lok Sabha and Assembly polls will be held simultaneously in the state in four phases beginning April 11,18, 23 and 29


The chief minister said he will contest the state polls from Hinjili in Ganjam district and Bijepur in west Odisha’s Bargarh district.
