First look poster of Vimal and Oviya's 'Kalavani 2'

Written and directed by Sarkunam, the film had Vimal and Oviya playing the lead pair with Saranya Ponvannan, Ilavarasu and Ganja Karuppu in supporting roles. However, Soori, who played the character of the hero’s friend in Kalavani, will not be part of this film. Now, the team has roped in YouTuber and RJ Vigneshkanth to play the role of the hero’s comic sidekick.

The film is produced under Sarkunam's own banner Varmans Productions in association with J Jeyakumar and TP Ramesh.
