Goa, not Delhi, is India’s vehicle capital

Delhi, with its 88.5 lakh registered vehicles, usually springs to mind first when one talks of vehicular population in states. 

But in terms of vehicle density or registered vehicles per 1,000 people, 

Delhi actually ranks third, behind Goa and Puducherry.
