Former Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) vice-chairman S Ramadorai (71) resigned as the chief of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and National Skill Development Agency (NSDA) on Tuesday Nov 01,2016

The NSDC board is likely to meet on Wednesday to discuss the future road map post the resignation. Sources said the Prime Minister has accepted his resignation.

Currently, S Ramadorai is working as a director at Tata Sons and Malaysian-owned no-frills airline AirAsia Berhad.
Ramadorai was the Chairman of National Skill Development Agency (NSDA) and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), a Public Private partnership arm of the government.
Ramadorai acted as adviser to the Prime Minister of India in the national council on skill development.
He took over as CEO of software giant TCS from FC Kohli in 1996.
