The All-India Senior Selection Committee have named medium pacer
Shardul Thakur as the replacement for injured pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar in
the Indian Team.
Kumar has been ruled out of the third Test of
the Paytm Test series against New Zealand at which starts on Oct 08,2016 after he sustained a back
strain in the second Test at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
Bhuvneshwar was a key player in India's victory in the 2nd Test and picked up a five-wicket haul in the first innings.
