China-based Xiaomi introduced two new products in India - the Mi Air Purifier 2 and the Mi Band 2.
Xiaomi launched the Mi Air Purifier 2 in India at Rs 9,999. With the rising levels of pollution in India, air purifiers are in demand.
It weighs just 4.8 kgs with the filter and hence is easy to move if the need arises.The filter on the Mi Air Purifier 2 includes a PET pre-filter, a HEPA (High-efficiency Particulate Arrestance) filter and an activated carbon adsorption filter. These filters are more than enough to absorb large particles to particles as small as 0.3 micrometre. The air purifier is also capable of eliminating strong food odour, making it equally apt for kitchens or living rooms.
The Mi Band 2 now comes with water and dust resistance.
The Mi Band 2 was launched internationally in June earlier this year. Priced in India at Rs 1,999 comes with a small display and tracks steps and monitors heart rate.
The fitness band further comes with a new vibration feature, reminding users throughout the day to move around.
The Mi Band 2 uses Bluetooth 4.0 to connect to the user's phone, and its battery is said to last up to 20 hours.
