Volvo Auto India launches XC90 T8 Excellence in India at Rs. 1.25 cr Wednesday Sep 14,2016

Volvo Auto India on Wednesday Sep 14,2016 launched the first P hybrid sports utility vehicle in the country -- the XC90 T8 Excellence -- priced at ₹1.25 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The XC90 T8 petrol engine is high on power and high fuel efficiency, coupled with world-class low emissions in four seat luxury SUV, the company said. 

Fitted with a 2.0 litre 4-cylinder petrol engine, the hybrid SUV accelerates to 100 kmph in just 5.6 seconds. 

The XC90 T8 Excellence is the most luxurious model built by Volvo till date. 

"It is not only a segment-first but India's first plug-in hybrid SUV and we see a lot of interest from our more affluent customers, who prefer to experience 'responsible' luxury," Tom von Bonsdorff, Managing Director, Volvo Auto India, said.
