Tata Hexa To Be Launched In India In October 2016

Tata Hexa,the soon to be launched crossover-SUV from the home-grown auto major will finally go on sale in India this festive season.

Expected to be launched in October 2016, right around Diwali, the upcoming Tata Hexa will replace the Aria.

TATA was supposed to launch the Hexa almost a couple of months back. The reason why it was postponed was because up unit early this month, the Supreme Court has issued a ban on registration of 2000cc and above diesel vehicle in Delhi and NCR.

Considering the fact that Delhi and NCR are one of the largest markets for SUVs in India and that the upcoming Tata Hexa used a 2.2-litre VARICOR diesel engine and also that Tata Motors doesn't have a powerful-enough sub 2.0-litre diesel motor for the Hexa, the carmaker was, in fact, in a major fix.
