Rihanna's landed the coveted cover of the September2016 issue of W Magazine — and a slew of top designers pitched in to create custom, one-of-a-kind pieces to clothe the star for the occasion.
This marks the 28-year-old singer's second time covering W's September 2016 Issue
and to celebrate, John Galliano, Miuccia Prada, and Gareth Pugh offered
up original designs that played into the shoot's dystopia theme,
wherein RiRi is the 'fearless leader and warrior' fronting the fight for
creativity against the 'thinking machine' ruling class.
On
the cover, Rihanna goes especially bold, her lips covered in sparkling
red gems and Cartier diamond dripping from her face and neck.
