Intex Technologies announced the launch of its latest smartphone – Cloud Tread with a Hexa-Core processor in India priced at Rs 4,999. The device will be sold exclusively via flash sale on an e-commerce platform in India.
The Cloud Tread sports a 5-inch HD screen with Dragontrail shield and ships with the Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The device is powered by a 1.5 GHz Hexa-Core processor with a MediaTek chipset that is backed by 2 GB RAM and 16 GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB).
The phone will also have a 2200 mAh battery which the company claims can run the device for up to 11 hours of talk time and close to 200 hours under standby mode.
The Intex Cloud Tread also has a 5 megapixel rear & front camera for capturing images and recording videos.
Cloud Tread will come two different colours – Champagne and Grey and will also have an emergency rescue feature that allows the user to send SOS messages to preset recipients in case of an emergency.
The 3G-enabled smartphone will be available for pre-orders for consumers on starting from August 24th to 29th, 2016.
