Forbes Highest Paid Models Of 2016 List - Gisele Bundchen is still the catwalk queen as she tops Forbes rich list once again

It may have been the year that the fashion world embraced the Instagram generation, but Gisele Bundchen has proved once again that she is the indisputable queen of the catwalk.

Gisele Bundchen is still leaps and bounds ahead of her modelling competitors - raking in a whopping $30.5 million in the last year despite a 30 per cent drop in earnings from £44 million last year.

The Forbes rich list reveals the 36-year-old earns almost three times more than the likes of Kendall Jenner, who pocketed $10 million in the year from June 2015

In second place in the Forbes list of the world's highest-paid models is Victoria's Secret veteran Adriana Lima who pocketed $10.5 million thanks to her endorsement deals with the likes of Maybelline, Vogue Eyewear and IWC watches.
Number two: This year - $10,5m. Last year - $9m. Brazilian Adriana Lima has been a Victoria's Secret model since 2000. She also rakes in the cash from endorsement deals with the likes of Maybelline, Vogue Eyewear and IWC watches

Meanwhile, model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has entered the world's highest-paid models list for the first time, above the likes of Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne

Joint fifth:  2016 earnings $9,000,000. 2015 earnings - new to the list.  Rosie Huntington-Whiteley launched her Autograph lingerie range with M&S in 2012, and the range has since expanded to include a fragrance, sports wear and make-up. Her acting career, starring in the third Transformers movie as well as 2015's Mad Max: Fury Road, has helped top up her earnings
