18 Years of Google Doodle Aug 30,1998 - Aug 30,2016

Larry Page and Sergey Brin, the founders of Google.Inc did not just give people the world and everything about it at their fingertips, they also happened to give people what we think is their best project - Google doodles. On August 30, 1998, Page and Brin decided to have some fun with the Google logo and came up with one that indicated their absence from the office on the Burning Man festival that day.

On Amrita Sher-gil's 103rd birthday, the doodle honoured "Indian Frida Kahlo" who left no hold barred in her life or works. Her passionate lifestyle and relentless endeavour to express herself were brought to life through her paintings. Her paintings speak volumes of her passionate lifestyle and relentless desire to express herself through her canvasses. The inspiration for this Doodle, by Jennifer Hom, is Sher-Gil's painting "Three Girls".
