2016 Tour de France - Chris Froome becomes the first Briton to win the Tour de France three times Sunday July 24,2016

Chris Froome wins historic third Tour de France title(had won in 2013 and 2015) and his journey had taken him most of the way through a trial of 2,186 miles, 666 towns, 35 French departments and four countries

 

Germany's Andre Greipel won the final sprint finish in the 21st stage of the Tour de France on Sunday

Chris Froome celebrated winning this year's Tour de France like any normal person would - by drinking a beer and planting a kiss on his wife and baby son. 

Chris Froome enjoyed a cold beer as well as a glass of champagne with his fellow Team Sky riders during the final and mostly ceremonial stage which ends on the Champs-Elysees in Paris
