North Korea's Nuclear Test - Tuesday Feb 12,2013

 

North Korea said it successfully detonated a miniaturised nuclear device at a northeastern test site on Tuesday Feb 12,2013, defying UN Security Council orders to shut down atomic activity or face more sanctions and international isolation.

 

North Korea has successfully tested a nuclear device with an estimated yield of seven kilotons, just under half the power of the bomb dropped on Hiroshima in the Second World War
