Virat Kohli's tenure as India's full-time captain in limited-over cricket got off to a victorious start after the 'Men in Blue' clinched the three-match ODI series 2-1 against England.
M S Dhoni, who handed over the captaincy baton to Kohli earlier this month, was the first one to wish the new skipper on his first ODI series win as a full-time captain.
Virat Kohli got an autographed ball from his predecessor and teammate Dhoni after India won the second ODI by 15 runs in Cuttack to seal the series.
During an interview to BCCI.tv, Kohli revealed the unique gift he got from his ex-captain.
"MS gave me the match ball in the second game. The stumps are too expensive nowadays and they don't allow us to take them home (smiles). He gave me the ball and told me that it was my first series win as captain and it is memorable. It was a special moment for me and I got the ball signed from him as well," Kohli said
