Crown Princess Mary and Prince Frederik of Denmark pose in Greenland's traditional costume with their children on a commemorative stamp

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark is joined by her husband and children on their debut postage stamp as a family.

The mother-of-four appears on the postal stamp for Greenland accompanied by her brood and her husband  Crown Princess Frederik, 48.

Normally photographed in formal wear during engagements the family were surely delighted to slip into something more comfortable for their stamp shoot.

The family are pictured beaming as they swap traditional ceremonial outfits for the national dress of Greenland.

Mary, 44, swaps her usual high tailoring for a colourfully printed snow suit and she and Frederik wear his and hers mukluk boots.

Princess Isabella and her sister Josephine are dwarfed by their enormous fur lined boots while Josephine's twin Vincent sports a pair of extremely hairy trousers
