Sudarsan Pattnaik attempted to make world's longest sand Buddha on the occasion of Vesak or Buddha Purnima which was on May 10, 2017. He made the sand art on 14th International Vesak Day celebrations at Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Sudarsan Pattnaik created a 40ft long sand Buddha on a special day marking the birth of lord Buddha. The sand art sculpture is now open for visitors in Colombo.
